FAS' REPLY TO MEDIA QUERY REGARDING S.LEAGUE PLAYER CONTRACTS
“The current S.League Player Contract conforms to the minimum contractual requirements and guidelines of FIFA. It contains all rights and duties between both signatories (Club and professional player) and defines all the Club's financial obligations to the Player in accordance with the Laws of Singapore.
“Any changes to the existing contract must not breach the guidelines for both employment in Singapore and employment of professional players as laid down by FIFA. Clubs are to keep us informed of these changes, if any.
“Players are free to seek recourse through the FAS Players' Status Committee should there be any contractual disputes between Club and Player that cannot be resolved by both parties.”
