The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that S.League club Tampines Rovers FC will be hosting Selangor FA for their final Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup 2016 Group E fixture at the 55,000-seater National Stadium. Originally scheduled to be played at the 5,500-seater Jalan Besar Stadium, the fixture has been relocated following approval from the AFC. Tickets for home fans, priced from just $4 onwards, will go on sale from 12.00pm on Wednesday 27 April. Away fans are advised to contact Selangor FA for purchase of tickets.

The Padang and Esplanade Park in the Civic District provided a picturesque backdrop for today’s draw for the 2016 RHB Singapore Cup, held as part of the third Car-Free Sunday SG. Over 200 people comprising S.League players, children from S.League clubs’ academies and their families were present to witness children representing their respective clubs, including the foreign clubs, conduct the draw to determine the fixtures.

The Football Association of Singapore today thanked outgoing National Coach Bernd Stange for his contributions to Singapore football. Coach Bernd Stange joined FAS in May 2013 and had earlier indicated that he would not seek a renewal of his contract upon its expiry in April.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that the Under-14 and Under-17 National Teams will be participating in The Jockey Club International Youth Invitational Football Tournament 2016. The competition, to be held in Hong Kong from 26 to 28 March 2016, will see Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei and Guam participating as well.

Balestier Khalsa FC'S Zulkhair Mustaffa and Hougang United FC’s Haidil Sufian bin Rosli have been called up to the Under-21 National Team, while Taufiq Muqminin of the Garena Young Lions will not be travelling due to injury. The U21 NT's matches will now kick off at 9.30pm Singapore time.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that the National Team squad to play the international friendly against Myanmar on Thursday 24 March at the Jalan Besar Stadium and the final FIFA World Cup 2018/AFC Asian Cup 2019 Qualification match against Afghanistan on Tuesday 29 March at the Takhti Stadium in Tehran has been confirmed. In addition, the Under-21 National Team will also be travelling to Tehran to play two international friendlies against their Iranian counterparts on 26 and 28 March.

Hougang Secondary School emerged as champion of the Under-17 category at the inaugural H-TWO-O Ultimate Challenge Cup by beating Springfield Secondary School 2-1 in the final earlier today. The tournament, which runs from 17-19 March at the Jalan Besar Stadium, will see a total number of 52 teams from various schools participating.

As part of the FAS’ ongoing plans to strengthen domestic football at all levels, the NFL is now a single-division competition with 10 teams. This will streamline the competition to sharpen the focus on quality of football, fitness and player development.
