SINGAPORE, 31 MARCH 2017: The Women’s National Team will be playing their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women’s Asian Cup Jordan 2018 Qualifiers from 3-9 April in Hanoi, Vietnam. Former Hougang United FC Head Coach K. Balagumaran has joined the team as Technical Advisor, and will be accompanying them during the tournament.

SINGAPORE, 27 MARCH 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today announced that the Singapore Schools Sports Council (SSSC)/ FAS National Inter-School ‘A’ Division Girls Football Championship 2017 will be held from 29 March to 17 May, and will be contested by 10 schools.

SINGAPORE, 17 MARCH 2017: The Organising Committee of The Sultan of Selangor’s Cup (TSSC) 2017 today announced that the 16th edition of the friendly tournament, to be held on 6 May 2017, will include a new ‘Singapore-Selangor Schools Challenge Cup’ match between the Under-16 boys of the Singapore Sports School and a Selangor Combined Schools team. It will be played before the traditional curtain raiser match between Singapore Veterans and Selangor Veterans, and the main match between the Singapore Selection and Selangor Selection.

SINGAPORE, 16 MARCH 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today announced that the National Football Academy (NFA) Under-15 and Under-18 teams will be participating in the Jockey Club International Youth Invitational Football Tournament 2017, to be held in Hong Kong from 17 to 19 March 2017. Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Qatar will be participating in the competition as well.

SINGAPORE, 8 MARCH 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today announced that the inaugural season of the Women’s National League (WNL) will be kicking off on Saturday 11 March 2017. Arion Football Academy B and GDT Circuit FC will be playing in the first match of the season at Queenstown Stadium. The WNL season will conclude on Sunday 21 May, with three fixtures scheduled for that day.

Ms Sun Xueling, Member of Parliament (MP) for Pasir Ris-Punggol Group Representation Constituency, was Guest of Honour at the event held in conjunction with International Women’s Day – which falls on 8 March.

The match will kick off at 3.00pm local time (7.00pm Singapore time).

SINGAPORE, 26 FEBRUARY 2017: Albirex Niigata FC (S) won the first-ever S.League match to be held at the Singapore Sports Hub this evening when it beat Tampines Rovers FC 2-1 to lift the Great Eastern Community Shield at the National Stadium in front of 15,480 raucous fans.
