The triangular will be held from 16-18 February 2017 at Jalan Besar Stadium, and all matches will kick off at 7.30pm.

In addition to launching the new FAS women’s football logo, the event will feature tournaments for Women’s Open 7-a-side, Girls Under-17 5-a-side and Family 3s categories, along with the new Girls Under-12 5-a-side category

SINGAPORE, 7 FEBRUARY 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and the S.League are pleased to announce that Great Eastern has extended its co-title sponsorship of Singapore’s only professional sports league for another two years, bringing the partnership to a decade. To celebrate Singapore football and involve the wider community, the season-opening Great Eastern Community Shield will be played at the Singapore Sports Hub, making it the first S.League match to be played at the iconic venue. Albirex Niigata FC (S) will face Tampines Rovers FC on Sunday 26 February 2017 at 6.00pm. Tickets for the match will go on sale from 9.00am on Wednesday 8 February.

SINGAPORE, 3 FEBRUARY 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today announced that registration for the Premier Skills Community Coaching Course, which will be held from 23-26 February 2017 at Jalan Besar Stadium, is now open. Targeted at those who have little or no experience in coaching but would like to get involved in football and coaching, it will be conducted from 8.45am to 5.00pm daily.

SINGAPORE, 11 JANUARY 2017: Two FIFA “Live Your Goals” (LYG) Centres, at Bowen Secondary and Queensway Secondary Schools, will kick-start their 2017 programmes with LYG Centre Festivals on 15 January and 4 February respectively. The festivals, which will be free and open to the public, will feature a mini-tournament where girls will be grouped into teams to play small-sided games.

SINGAPORE, 30 DECEMBER 2016: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Women’s National Team will be in Singapore for a week-long training camp from 2–7 January 2017. They will be playing two friendly matches – against a Singapore Selection team on Wednesday 4 January 2017, and against the Singapore Women’s National Team on Friday 6 January 2017. Both matches will kick off at 7.30pm at Jalan Besar Stadium.

SINGAPORE, 23 DECEMBER 2016: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that due to increasing interest and participation in women’s football, the Women’s Premier League will be reorganised to form a two-division structure from 2017. The 2017 Women’s Premier League (WPL) will thus consist of the teams that finished in the top six positions of this year’s WPL, while the new Women’s National League (WNL) will be made up of the teams that finished in the 7th-11th positions, along with any new teams.

SINGAPORE, 4 DECEMBER 2016: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Women’s Challenge Cup 2016 concluded this evening with Warriors FC defeating Woodlands Wellington FC 2-0 to emerge as champions. Sitianiwati Rosielin scored in the 87th and 89th minutes to clinch the Cup for her team. The final was played at the National Stadium for the first time thanks to a partnership with Singapore Sports Hub.

SINGAPORE, 21 NOVEMBER 2016: Home United FC’s Prime League team was crowned champions of the Singapore Pools FA Cup 2016 after defeating Siglap FC 3-1 at Jalan Besar Stadium yesterday. Amir Zalani scored a brace in the 14th minute and the 58th minute, and Ambroise Begue secured their win with a goal in the 82nd minute before Siglap scored a consolation through Guntur Djafril in the 89th minute.
