SINGAPORE, 17 JUNE 2017: The Singapore Under-20 National Team will be playing three friendly matches in Thailand as part of a training camp from 17 to 23 June. To facilitate this training camp, two Prime League matches scheduled on 18 June 2017 – Hougang United FC vs Warriors FC and Home United FC vs Geylang International FC – will be postponed. New dates for these matches will be announced in due course.

SINGAPORE, 7 JUNE 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today announced that the Under-15 and Under-18 National Teams will be going on separate training tours to Jakarta, Indonesia and Goa, India respectively. The U15s will be in Jakarta from 7-11 June 2017 and will play two matches against their Indonesian counterparts on 8 and 10 June, while the U18s will be in Goa from 18-22 June 2017 and will play two matches against the India Under-19s on 19 and 21 June.

SINGAPORE, 27 MAY 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) today confirmed that the National Team will face Chinese Taipei in the Final Round of the 2019 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup Qualifiers on 10 June 2017. As part of the team’s preparations for the qualifier, National Team coach V. Sundram Moorthy requested that a closed-door international friendly against Myanmar be played on 6 June. Both matches will be played at Jalan Besar Stadium.

In addition, two Great Eastern-Hyundai S.League matches involving Brunei DPMM FC – against Hougang United FC and Balestier Khalsa FC – have been shifted to 14 and 21 August 2017 respectively.

SINGAPORE, 15 MAY 2017: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Football Day will be celebrated in Singapore over two weekends with a wide range of activities. The festivities kicked off this past Saturday with five-a-side matches for children and their parents from the Serangoon and Hong Kah Cubs Centres as well as ActiveSG Serangoon at Serangoon Stadium, and will close with the FIFA “Live Your Goals” (LYG) Centre Festivals at Queensway Secondary and Bowen Secondary Schools on 20 and 21 May respectively. The LYG Centre Festivals are free and open for registration.

SINGAPORE, 9 MAY 2017: At today’s draw for the 2017 RHB Singapore Cup, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and RHB Singapore announced that RHB’s title sponsorship of the tournament will be extended for three years. This will take the partnership to 15 years in 2019.

SINGAPORE, 7 MAY 2017: The Singapore Selection yesterday equalled Selangor’s win record in the Sultan of Selangor’s Cup and lifted the Cup for the seventh time after defeating the Selangor Selection 3-2 in front of 25,619 fans. In the opening match of the day, Singapore Sports School beat Selangor Combined Schools 3-2 in a penalty shootout to take home the inaugural Singapore-Selangor Schools Challenge Cup, after the match ended 1-1 at full-time. The traditional curtain raiser match between the Singapore Veterans and Selangor Veterans ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams being crowned joint winners.
